How would you like to own a piece of Seymour history? Thanks to the generous owners of the White Star Market, CROSS Food Ministry will be auctioning off the old White Star sign during the upcoming Dinner Auction Fundraiser on October 22. Many people have already expressed interest in bidding on the nostalgic roadside emblem.
The auction will take place following a catered dinner by Connie’s Kitchen of Seymour. During the meal, attendees will have the opportunity to hear about the vision and mission of CROSS Food Ministry. One special highlight CROSS is excited to share is the video testimonials from thankful CROSS clients.
State Representative Dale Carr has graciously agreed to serve again as the event’s auctioneer. Of course, the White Star sign is just one of many items on the docket. CROSS will also auction off baskets which include: tickets to local attractions, rounds of golf, weekend cabin getaways, a Space Camp adventure, NASCAR driving experience, a Royal Caribbean Cruise, and much more. You surely don’t want to miss out on this night of inspiration and fun.
The evening’s festivities will be held at the Sevierville Civic Center from 6-8 p.m. Tickets may be reserved and purchased at CROSS Food Ministry. Individual tickets are $15 and a VIP table seating eight is $150. All proceeds from the auction and the dinner will be used to meet the needs of families in our tri-county area (Blount, Knox & Sevier Counties).
